Film making and creative writing are both popular positive activities — and a summer school announced this week by the BBC brings the two together.
The BBC is on the look out for 12 budding young writers to take part in a fully-funded writing school in the summer holidays.
Writers chosen to take part in the summer school will learn how to create their own online soap opera.
No experience of writing is necessary, but applicants needs to be aged 16-22 in August 2010.
The four-week summer school runs all day Monday to Friday
More information is available by emailing deborah.sathe [at] bbc.co.uk.
Do you also plan creative writing activities for young people this summer? We’d love to hear more, and hopefully feature any on Plings…
