Aerobics

Boost your all-round fitness and burn off energy at an aerobics class. Aerobics develops your flexibility, strength and endurance.

Move to the beat of the music in the dance-like exercises. Aerobics exercises include jogging on the spot, star jumps, lunges, twists, stretches, tummy crunches, and squats.

Aerobics is good for your body tone and muscle strength. It gets your heart and lungs pumping, improving your circulation.

Aerobics usually takes place in a gym. An instructor guides you through the exercises, so you don't need any special training to take part. Sessions last around 45 minutes.

Typical cost: £2-£5 per session.
